All our Beaver Scouts look very smart in their uniform, and are responsible for making sure they respect it by looking after it and wearing it properly.
While prospective members are trying out Beavers, they do not need a uniform, though after talking to the Section Leader they can wear uniform without badges or a Group scarf (called a “necker”) before they are invested (officially become a member of the group).
Once invested the uniform consists of a Beaver sweatshirt, Scouts activity trousers and a Group scarf, they can also wear a Beaver polo shirt. They will be given the badges, Group scarf and woggle when they are invested. Our Colony do not wear baseball caps.
At normal meetings the Beavers should wear shoes suitable for running around; however, when we go on days out or on parade the Beavers should wear black school shoes.
